To celebrate the second episode of the Good Vibration Wellbeing podcast, which is all about Sound Healing and Nature, I thought I’d share my go-to Sound Bath Meditation Script that helps guide us back to Mother Earth!
This meditation script is an invitation to come back home to your true self.
Permission to feel connected, held, safe & calm.
If you want to listen a guided & spoken version of this meditation - head over to my podcast here where you will find it at the end of the episode:
Before we begin, I want to take a moment to recognise that we are all so beautifully different.
There are multitudes, universes & worlds within each and every one of us.
So, in this meditation script, instead of being prescriptive with phrases like “Imagine a woodland…” or “You are now standing on a beach…”,it’s much more open-ended. It really gives each of the sound bathers space to drop into their hearts and explore where the healing is most needed.
Rather than using spoken cues, the connection to nature is encouraged through sound.
Each instrument played during the sound bath becomes an invitation to explore a new place in nature & a new world within.
It gives us permission to daydream and imagine.
To play.
Something we rarely get to do as adults!
The best part of this sound bath script is asking everyone afterwards where they went in their mind’s eye...

Meditation Script
Take these next few moments to find a comfortable position for your sound bath.
Allow yourself to truly arrive here.
Stretch out, take up space. Let your legs extend and your toes turn out to the sides.
Really feel the support of the Earth beneath you.
And as you deepen your breath, soften your body & allow these gorgeous healing sounds to take you on a journey into your heart.
Back to your true nature.
Take a mindful breath - knowing this moment is just for you.
Softly letting your body rest on Mother Earth.
Held, grounded & safe.
PAUSE
Gently send a waterfall of awareness from the crown of your head to the tips of your toes.
Relax the eyes behind the eyelids.
Release tension from your forehead and jaw.
Feel a graceful expression wash over your face.
Feel the beat of your heart pulsing in time with the rhythm of the earth beneath you.
Feel your legs grow heavy & grounded like roots from an ancient tree.
Know that you are safe and supported here.
PAUSE
Taking another round of deep, peaceful breath.
Notice how the body moves to receive the breath…
And how the body lets go of the breath too.
Give yourself permission to breathe with ease and grace - imagining each
breath is a breath of fresh air.
Cleansing.
Clearing.
Softening your edges.
PAUSE
Now, start to bring your attention to the sounds of the crystal bowls.
Notice how they make you feel or where they invite you to go in your mind's eye.
Which elements of nature do they remind you of?
Where are the sounds taking you?
Do they take you back to a memory, remind you of a place, a person or offer you a feeling or sensation in your body.
Feel the sounds wash over your body & dance through your imagination as you continue to peacefully breathe.
Allow this sound bath to guide you back to your true nature & connect you back to Mother Earth.
Namaste.
SOUND
Coming back to your body now, my love.
Touching the tip of each finger in turn with the thumb.
Slowly awakening your body.
Stretching and releasing all the muscles in arms…
Stretching and releasing through all the muscles in your legs…
As you are coming back to your body and back into this moment, I want to share a traditional Kundalini blessing with you to end our sound bath.
May the longtime sun shine upon you
May all love surround you
And the pure light within you
Guide you on your way

At the end of each & every sound bath session - I always offer the deepest gratitude for everyone gathering & meditating with me.
Then I offer a few simple ways to keep the feel-good-sound-bath-glow flowing.

Finally... here’s the beautiful thing we shall end on:
I believe you don’t need to go to a fancy yoga studio or even go to a sound bath to experience sound healing…
Instead, take the time to tilt your chin to the skies above or allow your ear to follow the ripple of the river.
Tune into the binaural beats that your sweet feet drum onto the earth as you walk.
Notice the wind that whispers through your hair.
Feel the glitter of sunshine on your face.
A sound bath, to me, is moments just like this - a full body experience.
Whole body presence.
A connection back to beautiful mother earth....

I'd love to know how you get on, Sweet Soul!
